Our organization is seeking an experienced and professional Finance Officer to join our team. Our ideal candidate must have passion and knowledge in managing accounting activities. We are looking for a person with true passion for managing finance and help the growth of the organization’s activities, aimed to favor the social development of rural areas. A young and energetic multitasking professional with excellent organizational and numerical skills for the management of our financial transactions and procedures, involving different activities and projects at the same time. 

Necessary:

A degree and experience in the financial field. A degree in the following fields will also prove particularly advantageous:

  • Accountancy or Finance
  • Economics
  • Mathematics
  • Business Studies
  • Management

Requirements:

  • An analytical mind, with commercial and business awareness
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Ability to stick to time constraints
  • Good written and verbal skills in English and Nepalese
  • Young, Energetic, with passion to work in any condition and especially in rural setting
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with good inter-personal skills
  • Ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds
  • Self motivated, positive and success oriented

Additional requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of accounting procedures and financial regulations
  • Experience using financial software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or EconomicsProfessional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus

Job Description: 

  • Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information
  • Manage the cash flow of the organization and reconcile bank statements
  • Predicting future financial trends
  • Monitor and report organizational efficiency to management, providing advice how the organization and future business decisions might be impacted
  • Make decisions on how to invest organization money for the social development of rural areas
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets
  • Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
  • Ensure business meets legal requirements


Working Conditions: 

  • The work station is a rural village in the district of Sindupalchowk, where the organization has several projects and employs both, local and non-local staff
  • 25 days per month you will be required to be in the working station, with 5 to 6 days leave/holidays each month
  • Salary will be 35,000 to 60,000/- NPR
