Job Description

Financial Management

Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal:

  • Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, and expenses.
  • Preparing yearly financial projections and an operating budget.
  • Preparing quotations and conducting competitive pricing of the products after proper market research and analysis.
  • Tax and VAT related filings. 
  •  Predicting future financial trends Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
  • Producing management accounts and reports on month-end with details including expenses and budgets.
  • Directing financial planning and strategy, managing matters including structuring, planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring.
  • Assessing planned and delegated budgets across departments, delegating based on company needs.
  • Ownership of Petty cash and timely initiation of the payment of regular contracts and salary.

SAATH (Associated Entity of Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal):

  • Annual planning and budgeting, importing approved budget into NetSuite ERP system.
  • Executing year-end and donor audits, working with external auditors to confirm clean financial audits and implementing any improvement suggestions promptly.
  • Liaison with the donor for fund requests, donor reporting and other necessary aspects of the grant
  • management.
  • Ensure compliance with the prevailing Income Tax Regulations.
  • Close coordination with program and fundraising team for necessary finance inputs/budgeting and
  • advices.
  • Ownership of Petty cash. 
  • Monthly reconciliations of the vendor/receivable accounts and bank in the system.
  • Timely initiation of the payment of regular contracts and salary
  • Monitoring expenses, income, budgets and petty cash records and acted upon errors.
  • Evaluating finances to assess budget and controls and identify areas for improvement.

Administration:

  • Coordination and regular communication with Social Welfare Council (SWC), ward and relevant Government agencies/authorities and recommend management on the latest guidance and policies from the authorities.
  • Prepare required documents to be submitted to SWC and other relevant Government authorities.   
  • Support and ensure compliance for procurement and regular office supplies. Support in soliciting quotations with close coordination with program team.
  • Oversee procurement procedures for Danfe Works Enterprises Nepal in compliance with policies and best practices.
  • Support logistics and communication system i.e., internet, telephone lines, rental agreements and other office/administrative contracts.

Human Resource Management:

  • Guide staff to follow working policies. 
  • Support in revision of Job Descriptions, Key Performance Indicators and performance evaluation of other staff
  • Take lead in resolving staff issues or concerns
  • Maintain and regular updates of staff leave records
  • Maintain and update staff personal files
  • Provide induction to new recruited staff on organizational policies and procedures
  • Support Director of Development and Administration on any aspects of Human resources as assigned.
