Position: Sr. Finance Officer (Full Time)
Report to: Program Head & Executive Director
Job location: Kathmandu

Key Qualification/Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling financial management of projects commissioned by multilateral and bilateral donors, INGOs, etc.
• Strong background and experience in financial planning, budgeting, implementation and analysis
• Ability to prepare and track the budget information and advice the management
• Good knowledge and understanding of government financial and tax-related policies
• Sound knowledge and skills in operating TALLY and other accounting software
• Sound ability to carry out multi-tasks and work under the pressure
• Have strong communication skills both in Nepali and English
• Experience in administrative management and internal control systems will be an added advantage

Job Description

• Ensure effective and efficient functioning of MITRA Samaj’s financial management in accordance with Government of Nepal and donors' policies  
• Carry out financial plans, payment and financial report preparation as required
