Saathimart’s retail offline outlets are operated under 3 business model; Franchise owned and Franchise operated model (FOFO), franchise owned and company operated (FOCO) and company owned and company operated (COCO) and is the first o2o commerce of Nepal. Customers can order groceries online via our website www.saathimart.com and mobile application (Saathimart). Saathimart aims to delivery goods to consumer doorsteps within 12 hours of order confirmation all over nepal.

The journey started 11 years ago in 2009 from a manufacturing company. After gaining experience for more than 10 years in distributorship, retail and wholesale market in Nepal, we came up with an idea of Saathimart; a retail and online business idea. The company that would enable small as well big entrepreneurs to extend their scope by offering an online platform, enabling young and experienced entrepreneurs through affiliate marketing to earn in Nepal.

  • Master's Degree in Management with specialization in Accounts/Finance 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field
  • Knowledge in advanced MS-Excel, Accounting Tally Software, IMS and other office package is a must
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Ability to synthesize reports based on discussions
  • Ability to generate expense and other financial reports in excel
  • Good grip in numbers
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English and Nepali
  • Knowledge on the documentation required against any transactions

Job Description

  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly requirement of the company
  • Monitoring cash and bank balance and its forecast
  • Overseeing and reviewing books of accounts of the branch and ensuring timely accounting of transactions
  • Supervising finance and accounting department employees
  • Monitoring receivable balances, ensuring accuracy of balance and interests
  • Monitoring and reviewing accounting and related system records and records for accuracy and completeness including ledger scrutiny
  • Ensuring compliance with prevailing rules and regulations related to direct and indirect taxes, labor acts and rules and other as applicable to transactions of the company
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
  • Understand and adhere to financial policies, rules and SOP formulated in the company
  • Developing, preparing and implementing daily, weekly and monthly Management Information System (MIS) and reporting
  • Reviewing financial and accounting data and ensuring reconciliation for preparation of monthly and annual reports
  • Assist in timely submission and presenting monthly and annual financial information of the company to the regulating authorities
  • Assist coordination with Internal and external tax audit of the company
  • Monitoring and ensuring implementation of the recommendations made by different auditors
  • Assist in identifying the areas of improvements and preparing and implementing corrective measures
  • Assist in maintaining good banking relations
  • Assist to represent the company with regulators, Income Tax authorities, investors and other stakeholders
