Job Description

As a member of the Embassy of Switzerland and SDC programme team and in close collaboration with SDC funded projects and partners, the Finance Controller monitors and helps to promote effective and efficient use of SDC’s resources. This is done through assessment, analysis, advice and training/orientation. The person is furthermore responsible for the proper functioning of the internal control, financial information system and contract management.

Required Technical Competence:

  • Chartered Accountant with Master’s degree (Business Administration, commerce or management)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the area of auditing and/or financial management after completion of chartered accountancy
  • Good knowledge of local laws/act on taxation and fiscal federalism
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Nepali
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of computer operation and different software application skills
