Job Description

The Finance and Project Compliance Officer is the finance focal person of all partnership projects of AAI Nepal. S/He is responsible for producing management accounts and to ensure that they are systematically and regularly produced, disseminated and utilized by all concerned budgets holders within the organization. All statutory and other donors related compliances are also ensured by the position.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that plans and budgets of all partnership projects are prepared in line with AAIN’s Annual plan & budgets.
  • Guide and assist the finance functions in the partnership projects in preparing the periodic financial reports as required by different donors.
  • Regularly monitor the funds flow position of each of the projects 
  • Assist the Fundraising team as well as partner NGOs in preparing plans and budget for partnership project proposals as and when required.
  • Prepare and guide the project finance function and the PNGOs for timely reports through regular monitoring
  • Ensure donor compliances in financial reporting. Review the different aspects donor requirements minutely and thoroughly.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances that are to be met by AAIN. Ensure Tax Clearance for the staff at the closure of the fiscal year and Statutory Reports to different Statutory Bodies as required.
  • Facilitate both internal and external audit processes for all the partnership projects as and when required.

Person Specification:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/ Studies with 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the NGO/INGO sector.
