Job Description

The Filling Line Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the filling line machinery to ensure efficient production of bottled water. This role ensures that production targets are met while adhering to quality and safety standards specific to water production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Filling Line Machinery:

  • Adjust, Maintain and operate filling line equipments like Rinser, Filler sealer, Labelling (OPP and sticker) and shrink wrapping according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Monitor machinery during operation to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular quality checks and lubrication on machinery to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the machinery.
  • Abide by the Company’s Food Safety policies and adhere the fill seal-label-pack operation accordingly.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of filling line machinery used in water production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, equipment performance, and any maintenance activities.
  • Report any deviations from standard operating procedures to the Production Supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and company policies related to food safety and water quality.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in machinery operation is a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the water or beverage industry (either cold filling or hot filling operation).
  • Experience with filling line machinery in water production is required.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain complex machinery.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
