Main Responsibilities:

Overall preparation and planning of programme activities in the district
Take a lead on advocacy, coordination, communication, linkages, partnership and community/social mobilization
Responsible for overall management of human resources
Ensure effective supportive supervision and monitoring of program activities in the field
Act as a security focal person for the base
Ensure office financial and administrative procedures are respected and followed
Responsible for recording, documentation, and reporting
Represent the organization in clusters and working groups in its relevant programme areas

Qualifications And Required Skills:

Master’s degree in social science, public health, nutrition, development studies or a relevant discipline
At least four years of extensive experience in the development sector with significant exposure to CMAM/IMAM, nutrition in Emergency and/or Livelihood and Food security.
At least 1-2 years previous experience in independently managing a field unit.
Previous experience of working in a Senior Management Team would be an advantage
Previous experience of working in Terai region is desirable
Strong knowledge/understanding of health systems and livelihood issues in Nepal
Ability to work in diverse team and environment with short deadlines and intense pressure.
Sensitive and responsive to Gender and Diversity, knowledge about Social Inclusion
Excellent standard of written and spoken English and Nepali
Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation skills
Sound knowledge of community/social mobilization
Should be innovative and should have problem-solving skills
Should be result oriented
Excellent computer skills including navigating email, internet and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
