Job Description

Daily inspection of planted crops in the farms.
Identify pest infestation, nutrient deficiency; weed infestation or any kind of damages occurred to crops in the farm.
Operate drip irrigation, fertilization, tillage, weeding.
Spray pesticides, herbicides and other plant nutrients as planned and required.
Assist farm manager in cultivation, seeding, harvest of crops and any other farm management works.
Farm nursery management.
Analysing existing farm operations, crops, staff, financial documents and recommending improvements.
Preparing plans and schedules for planting, crop type, its quantity, quality, harvesting, storing.
Preparation of action plan of junior technicians, farm labors and other farm human resources.
Ensuring seeds, saplings, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
To perform laborious farm activities like operating farm based machinery and equipment, operating drip irrigation, spraying, fertilizers application etc.
Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of farm equipment and machinery.
Planning and preparation of finance reports, setting up budget limit for various farm activities, and executing those activities in agreement with the budgeted parameters.
Training farm staffs, planning their work schedules on daily basis, monitoring junior staff activities.
Record keeping of inflow and outflow of all farm supplies.
Record keeping of farm expenses and farm sales.
Ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members and part-time labors.
Collaborating with senior staffs while preparing farm plans, budgets and financial reports.
Building professional networks with Agriculture Knowledge Center and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
Adhere with organic agriculture practices in farm.
Monthly reporting to operation manager/business manager.
Accountability of entire farm facility operation and management.
