Job Description

Basic Function of the Position:

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching high school level students. The teacher will plays a crucial role in overseeing the academic direction and administrative management of the Mathematics department within a school.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and implement a comprehensive and challenging Mathematics curriculum.
Deliver high-quality instruction to high school students, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Lead and manage the Mathematics department, including mentoring and supporting other Mathematics teachers.
Coordinate and chair departmental meetings to discuss curriculum, pedagogy, and student performance.
Provide academic guidance and support to students, including tutoring and mentoring as needed.
Stay current with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy through continuous professional development.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and departmental activities.
Prepare reports and presentations for school leadership and stakeholders as required.
