Job Description

Effectively manage the restaurant by ensuring the following:

Greet guests and maintain a high profile in the Company lobby
Be totally familiar with all the aspects of the Company and its facilities, including guest activity programs, rates and promotional packages
Discuss daily activities with Asst. Manager /Executive chef
To be completely familiar with all daily bookings and to identify regular and commercially important guests
To be present in case of all VIP & Suite arrivals and escort them to the sitting area
Assist Sales department as and when required
Meet guests visiting the Restaurant
Assist management with promotional activities
Demonstrate Awareness of O&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within O&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same
Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
