As a member of the AIRC and Prometric authorized Service Provider, we follow a very strict guideline of operations and have developed our working procedures accordingly. In these years we have grown to ten centers across the country and an onshore center in Sydney Australia. We are today the largest study abroad and test preparation center in Nepal touching and changing the lives of over ten thousand students annually.

We have been an AIRC certified company for more than a decade. Alfa Beta is the largest English testing center for Pearson, TOEFL and IDP IELTS (through our sister concern Deeya Management & Consulting Services) in Nepal and tests over 1,00,000 students annually. Alfa Beta was awarded by IDP IELTS as “Nepal’s No.1 Business Partner” for seven consecutive years from 2017 to 2023.

Job Description

  • Complete a broad variety of administrative task For the President/ CEO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Communicate with staff on behalf of President/ CEO and coordinate logistics with high-level meetings both internally and externally. Coordinate meetings and strategic activities with The Management Team (TMG), and members of the Association.
  • Communicate directly and on behalf of the President/CEO with Board members, Association members and others on matters related to business/ associations as directed.
  • Draft reports, proposals; prepare and coordinate oral and written communication with all concerned on behalf of the [resident/CEO
  • Support President/CEO in his external commitments, including service on external boards, committees and other groups.
  •  Serve as the President/CEO’s administrative liaison to the Board of Directors and manage Board activities including coordinating semi-annual Board meetings and dinners; semi-annual Board staff lunches/receptions/new Board member orientations; arranging hotel accommodations for out-of-town Board members; processing travel reimbursement requests; and compiling, assembling, and distributing Board meeting materials. Research potential Board members for the Nomination Committee. Coordinate Executive, Finance, Governance & Nominating, and Audit Committee meetings, maintain confidential files and contact information; coordinate meetings, conferences, and committees both on and off-site to support the President’s agenda.
  •   Maintain Board portal (President/CEO’s Desk)
  • Participate as an adjunct member of the team including assisting in scheduling, attending meetings. Represent the President in designated meetings as required.
  •  Assist in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings. Prepare an account (minute) of the meetings and follow up on assigned action items
