Job Description

KL Dugar FMCG, a leading division of the KL Dugar Group, represents trusted brands like Amul, Cafezza, Cornitos, Tropolite, Mövenpick, Reggia, and Regal Thai in Nepal. As we expand nationwide, we are looking for a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and manage sales operations in the Bakery, HORECA, and General Trade sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning & Achievement

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with business targets.
  • Achieve sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive category growth and product mix optimization.

Market Coverage & Expansion

  • Ensure effective distribution and coverage in targeted areas.
  • Expand into new markets by onboarding potential clients in the bakery and HORECA sectors.
  • Monitor competition and adjust strategies to maintain market leadership.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, and catering services.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for resolving customer queries and service issues.

Order & Collection Management

  • Ensure timely order booking, delivery coordination, and stock availability.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections as per credit terms.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage credit risk.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps.
  • Provide insights to senior management to support data-driven decisions.

Promotional Activities

  • Plan and execute trade promotions, in-store visibility drives, sampling, and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for brand activations and local campaigns.
  • Monitor effectiveness of promotional efforts and suggest improvements.
