Amar Architects (previously known as Studio MRAA) is a Kathmandu based design led architecture and interior design practice with a strong focus on finely crafted projects.

To us architecture goes beyond the four walls. Architecture for us is a means to interrogate social, political, economic and philosophical ideas and issues that surrounds us. It looks at history, culture and art to form ideas and points of references.  It is a means to understand these topics from a different perspective with the hope of finding solutions or suggest paths that lead to some sort of solution. We believe in simple, locally innovative, holistic design approach and to produce clever site responsive architecture and design solutions that challenges the status quo. 

We believe that materials, space, lighting and the composition of these elements can change the way one experiences space. 

We like to think of our projects as a human; unique and particular to the site, clients, brief and purpose at hand, with a focus on sustainability and integration with landscape and community.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to support the Directors of a dynamic and diverse group of companies spanning hospitality, real estate, architecture, technology outsourcing, and trading. This full-time position is central to the smooth operation of our businesses, acting as a key point of coordination and execution across both professional and personal domains for the founders.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the Directors, managing calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks and oversee efficient office operations
  • Assist in setting up and managing office infrastructure including procurement, supplies, and vendor relationships
  • Streamline processes and help implement best practices to improve operational efficiency across all business verticals
People & Recruitment
  • Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, screening applicants, and onboarding new hires
  • Ensure smooth integration of new employees into their teams and office environment
Cross-Company Operations
  • Assist with operational tasks across various businesses in the group, including technology, hospitality, real estate, and more
  • Coordinate and follow up on projects or deliverables across departments and ventures
Government & Tech-Related Support
  • Help with government paperwork and administrative filings as needed
  • Provide light support on tech-related tasks and digital tools used across the companies
Personal Assistance
  • Support the Directors with ad-hoc personal tasks to help manage their time and commitments effectively
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
