Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
Performing minor accounting duties
Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters

Executive Assistant Duties and Skills

Microsoft Office

Suite of software including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Administrative experience

Experience or skill performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, or maintaining records.

Organizational skills

Ability to organize workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces.

Personal assistant experience

Experience or skill assisting one individual with administrative or personal tasks.

Typing

Skill using a computer keyboard to type.

Office experience

Experience in office organization or non-specialized business operations.

Filing

Experience ordering and maintaining documents according to a predetermined system.

Clerical experience

Experience or skill related to daily office tasks, such as answering phones, sending faxes, or filing documents.

Proofreading

Experience reviewing written text for typographical consistency, grammar, and spelling.

Computer literacy

Basic skill or experience in general computer use such as using a computer’s operating system, using software and hardware, typing, sending and receiving email, and searching the Internet.

Data entry
