Sonam Gear is a clothing retailer and manufacturer. We started as one small outlet in 2011, with a pure intention of making Nepal-made clothes for tourists as well as our local customers. 

We are now booming as a retailer with 20 retail outlets across Nepal with at least 200-300 staffs working with Sonam. We produce summer wear such as shorts, t-shirts, windcheaters as well as winter wears suchas down jackets, primaloft, fleece jackets.

Job Description

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and  preparing communications on the executive’s behalf 
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records  
  • Performing minor accounting duties  
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when  necessary 
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner 
  • Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most  sensitive matters 

Executive Assistant Duties and Skills  

Microsoft Office

  • Suite of software including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Administrative experience

  • Experience or skill performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, or maintaining records.

Organizational skills

  • Ability to organize workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces.

Personal assistant experience

  • Experience or skill assisting one individual with administrative or personal tasks.

Typing

  • Skill using a computer keyboard to type.

Office experience

  • Experience in office organization or non-specialized business operations.

Filing

  • Experience ordering and maintaining documents according to a predetermined system.

Clerical experience

  • Experience or skill related to daily office tasks, such as answering phones, sending faxes, or filing documents.

Proofreading

  • Experience reviewing written text for typographical consistency, grammar, and spelling.

Computer literacy

  • Basic skill or experience in general computer use such as using a computer’s operating system, using software and hardware, typing, sending and receiving email, and searching the Internet.

Data entry

  • Experience or skill entering data into a database or computer software.

Project coordination

  • Skills or experience related to project coordination. Project coordination generally focuses more on day-to-day tasks and less on high-level planning, scheduling, or budgeting.
