1. Background
We aim to create a video documentary highlighting our centers' impact and the stories of beneficiaries who have received support through HRDC/CBM Global Projects. This documentary focuses on capturing real-life experiences that emphasize the transformative effect of our services, particularly for individuals with disabilities.
2. Objective
The main objective is to produce a high-quality, accessible video documentary that effectively portrays our centers' work and our beneficiaries' personal stories, emphasizing our commitment to supporting persons with disabilities.
3. Scope of Work
The selected team will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Pre-production: Planning the storyboard, scripting, and setting up the shooting schedule.
- Filming: Capturing footage at our five centers in Birendranagar, Kohalpur, Banepa, Itahari, and Lahan, as well as interviews with the five beneficiaries in the community settings of these centers.
- Post-production: Editing the video to create a polished final product, including captions, audio descriptions, and other accessibility features.
- Final Output: Delivering an engaging, accessible video documentary that meets our objectives and can be used for awareness and outreach.
4. Deliverables
- A detailed storyboard and script for the documentary.
- High-quality video footage shot at our centers and interviews with the two beneficiaries and in community settings.
- Edited video documentary with accessibility features like captions and audio descriptions.
- All raw footage and final edited versions submitted in digital format.
5. Expertise and Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in producing video documentaries with a focus on disability-related themes.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards for video content.
- Experience in filming and editing videos in challenging environments and working with sensitive subjects.
- Ability to manage the project within the specified timeline and budget.
6. Timeline
The project is expected to be completed between December 2024 – January 2025. The team should adhere to this timeline to ensure timely delivery of all deliverables.
8. Proposal Submission Requirements
Interested teams should submit a proposal that includes:
- A detailed work plan with a timeline.
- Samples of previous work, particularly videos focusing on disability or similar themes.
- A budget breakdown for each phase of the project.
- Team profiles highlighting relevant experience and expertise.
9. Evaluation Criteria
The selection process will be based on:
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in disability-focused documentaries.
- Quality of Previous Work: Assessment of past video projects.
- Project Plan: Clarity and feasibility of the proposed work plan and timeline.
10. Submission Deadline
Proposals must be submitted by December 8, 2024 COB. Late submissions will not be considered.
