1. Background
Action for Nepal is an open, transparent and accountable organization founded on the principle of assisting those in need and undertaking all transactions with integrity. Action for Nepal and REED Nepal with the financial support of Australian Himalayan Foundation (AHF) and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia have been implementing ‘West Nepal, Sambridhee Khaptad Chhanna: Education and Health Improvement Project in in Khaptad Chhanna Rural Municipality of Bajhang district from July 2022.
We are looking for professional's individuals who can undertake the following training.
GEDSI training
- Target population: Health Facility Operation and Management Committee (HFOMC), Health Workers, FCHVs, Representatives of Rural Municipality
- Duration: 3 days each in 5 wards
- Location: Ward 1 to 5 of Khaptad Chhanna Rural Municipality
2. Major Objective of the service
- To enhance the capacity of Rural Municipality and ward representatives to address gender and disability issues.
- To promote the inclusive participation of community people in different activities, meetings.
- The consultant service for training packages will be availed based on the specification mentioned below.
4. Expected Deliverables
- Prepare and submit session outline, detailed content, PPT, Handouts, training delivery
- Submit the report on the delivery of training programs
- Conduct Pre and Post evaluation of each training
- Submit the final training documents (manual and PowerPoint slides, group work exercise, etc.)
- Prepare the guideline for the follow up by the project staffs.
5. Budget and Mode of Payment
The individuals shall submit the CV along with the application.
a. The payment shall be made only to the account of the individual’s name.
b. The payment will be made through Account Payee Cheque.
6. Acceptance of Application
- All the rights to accept or to reject the proposal, with or without any obligations, shall be reserved by Action for Nepal.
7. General Qualification of the Individuals
- The service provider should have the following qualifications:
- Professional with relevant expertise in the related field
- Excellent facilitating skills in Nepali
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience related to GEDSI training
- Should have understood the culture and customs of Far-west Nepal
- Should be specialists in the subject matter
- Sound knowledge and expertise on desire consultancy work
- Able to travel in remote areas and stay there for a month
- Police clearance report or will be check if you will be hired.
- At least two references
8. Documents to be submitted by the Individuals
The application shall contain the following documents:
- Detailed curriculum
- Detail of the individuals
-Academic documents
-Citizenship
-Curriculum vitae
-PAN number
-Passport size photo
Interested and eligible individuals are requested to submit the application with through email to Action for Nepal ([email protected]) by 25th February 2023, 17:00 PM (Nepali Time)
The applications received after the deadline will not be considered and only shortlisted individuals will be called for further process. Canvassing at any stage of the process shall lead to automatic disqualification. Action for Nepal reserves all rights to make the final decision regarding the selection of the individual without any obligations.
