Invitation For Expression of Interest (EOI) To Conduct Mid-term Evaluation For SAINO:
Revitalizing Nature-Culture Relationship and Recollection of Indigenous Peoples in the Annapurna Area of Nepal project
Youth Alliance for Environment (YAE) is a science based, non-profit and non-governmental independent organization working in the environmental sectors for the conservation and management of environmental resources. Our thematic areas of work include Environmental Management, Water Resource, Forestry and Biodiversity, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management. Under each theme, YAE works on Capacity building, Policy Advocacy, Research and Innovation and Livelihood promotion. YAE is the alliance where enthusiastic environmentalists, expertized in different environmental sectors, are working together for environmental sustainability.
Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) and Youth Alliance for Environment (YAE) have been implementing “SAINO: Revitalizing Nature-Culture Relationship and Recollection of Indigenous Peoples in the Annapurna Area of Nepal” with support from Green Environment Facility (GEF), Initial Conservation Initiatives (ICI) Conservation International and IUCN, aimed at strengthening the access, inclusion, and leadership of Indigenous Peoples in natural resource governance and climate change adaptation. The project was implemented from January 2024 and will continue up to December 2027. The project works across ten villages of four districts: Manang, Mustang, Lamjung, and Kaski.
YAE invites Expression of Interest (EOI), from the potential firms to conduct Mid-term evaluation of the GEF 7-supported project implemented within Annapurna Conservation Area of Nepal. Interested and capable firms/institutes with an experience in conducting this third-party monitoring and evaluation are invited to submit their application (both Technical and Financial) via email clearly marked as ‘EOI for Evaluation of SAINO project’ to the mentioned email address no later than 8 November 2025.
