Invitation for Electronic Bids for the Supply and Delivery of Postal Bags (Jean Dank Thaila)

1. Government of Nepal (GoN), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Postal Services Department, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Postal Bags (Jean Dank Thaila) under National competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement Act and Regulations.
2. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Postal Services Department, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal or may visit PPMO egp system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
3. Bidding documents is available online and can be downloaded from e-GP system: www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Interested bidders shall register in the e-GP system and deposit the cost of bidding document NRs. 3,000.00 in the following bank.

4. Interested Bidders shall submit the electronic Bids through www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp to the above office of Department of Postal Services, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal on or before 13:00 hours on 07 November, 2025.
5. Bids shall be opened in presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend on 14:00 hours on 07 November, 2025 at the office of Department of Postal Services, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of NRs. 53,500 (Fiftythree Thousands Five hundred only), which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period.
6. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
