Invitation for Bids for Interior Project of Branch Office Building At New Road, Kathmandu, Nepal of Himalayan Bank Ltd.

1. Himalayan Bank Ltd. (HBL) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Interior Project of Branch Office Building of Himalayan Bank Ltd. at New Road, Kathmandu, Nepal under Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Work experience in Interior Contracts: 3 years
- Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature within the last 10 years: two (2) numbers of successfully completed Interior Works, each of value not less than NRs. 17,500,000.00
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Tumover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 29,000,000.00
2. Under the Single Stage. Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing
(i) the Technical Bid and the other
(ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document including notarized documents of turnover certificates and work experience certificates.
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the General Administration Department, Himalayan Bank Ltd., Corporate Office, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal by eligible Bidders on submission of a written application, along with a copy of company/ firm registration certificate, VAT registration and TAX clearance certificate of F/Y 2080/81 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs.5000.00 during office hours till the 15th day from the date of first publication of this notice.

4. Joint Venture is not allowed for this project.
5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Himalayan Bank Ltd., Corporate Office, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal at 3: 00pm on the 16th day from the date of first publication of this notice. Attending the Pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders. Bidders who do not attend the Pre-bid meeting will be excluded from the bid evaluation process.
6. Sealed bids must be submitted to the General Administration Department, Himalayan Bank Ltd., Corporate Office, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal by hand/courier before 12.00 NOON within the 21st day from the date of first publication of this notice. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The Technical Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend after 2:00 PM on the 21st day from the date of first publication of this notice at the office of Himalayan Bank Ltd., Corporate Office, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of NRs.700,000.00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
8. If the last date of submission falls on a Government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
9. The Technical Bids will be evaluated on the basis of the Evaluation and Qualification criteria of Section III of the Bidding Document. Three (3) top ranking Bidders from the technical evaluation will be shortlisted and Price Bids of only the shortlisted Bidders will be opened.
10. Himalayan Bank Ltd. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids with or without giving any reason whatsoever.
