1. The Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL), Project Implementation Directorate (PID) (the "Employer"), under financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of SCADA-enabled urban water supply infrastructure and a one-year system stabilization service that includes water operation support (the "Works"). The Works are divided into five (05) contracts tabulated below, grouped under multiple contracts.
2. Bidders have option to bid for any one or more Contracts. If a Bidder submits several successful (lowest evaluated substantially responsive) bids, the evaluation will also include an assessment of the Bidder's capacity to meet the aggregated requirements for Average Annual Construction Turnover and Financial Resources as presented in the bid.
3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure. Only the Bidders complying with the Eligibility and Qualification Criteria as required under Section 3 as defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding.
