1. Upper Myagdi Hydropower Ltd (UMHL or the Employer or the Company), invites bid from informed bidders for the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Hydromechanical Works of Upper Myagdi-1 Hydropower Project (53.5 MW), located in Myagdi, Nepal.
2. Bidders may obtain further information and Bidding Documents free of cost from the Employer's website https://urjadevelopers.com/portfolio/upper-myagdi-1-hydropower-project/
3. Any queries shall be sent through electronic media to the Employer's official email address within ten (10) days of first documents uploaded date, which shall be addressed by the Employer through their official email ID and the emails shall be forwarded to all the Bidders. 4. The Bidders, at its own cost, risk and responsibility, is strongly advised to visit, examine and assess the Site of Works, the actual site conditions especially the accessibility to site, its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the Bid and entering into a contract for the Hydromechanical Works. A site visit certificate will be issued by the Project Site Office and the Bidders may submit the site visit certificate enclosed with their Bidding Document.
5. Prices quoted by the Bidders shall remain fixed and valid throughout the period of Bid Validity and any extensions thereof. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, said prices shall remain fixed and valid until completion of the contract works. Bids, which include price escalation conditions, standard price adjustment policies and conditions of sale that oppose any conditions in the Bid are not acceptable and shall be rejected.
6. Bids must be received at the email address given below on or before 17:00 hours local time on May 30, 2025. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
7. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after the Bid submission deadline.
8. If the last date of submission of Bid falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered the last day.
9. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partially any or all the Bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
