Sustainable WASH for All (SusWA) Project
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

SusWA is a bi-lateral project funded by Government of Nepal (GoN) and Government of Finland (GoF) to be implemented in forty selected Palikas of Karnali Province. The Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Management (DWSSM)/Ministry of Water Supply (MoWS) is the main agency supporting the implementation of the project. Federal Water Supply and Sewerage Management Project (FWSSMP) Surkhet/Jumla under the DWSSM acts as the Project Coordination Office (PCO) of the project. The Project Support Unit (PSU) of SusWA project is located in Kalinchowk, Birendranagar, Surkhet.
The project has three key outcome areas (i) strengthened enabling environment and governance for sustainable WASH services and GESI in project municipalities, (ii) climate resilient, safe and functional water supply in project municipalities, and (iii) sustainable sanitation and hygiene (S&H) and dignified menstruation management.
The project currently seeks a qualified consulting firm/consultant to carry out the Baseline Survey in 42 selected Palikas of the project addressing the defined goal, outputs and outcomes as stated in the project’s Results Framework (RF) with a set of key indicators to establish the before project situation. Hence, the interested consulting firms/consultants are requested to submit the Technical and Financial Proposals for this assignment following the RFP guidelines.
The RFP/ToR can be obtained from PSU Surkeht or through correspondence to the email address [email protected]. The proposal can be submitted to the SusWA project office at Kalinchowk, Birendranagar, Surkhet on or before 2nd February 2022, 5:00 pm, Nepal time. If the last date of submission of a proposal falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date.

SusWA Project reserves the right to reject any/all proposals without mentioning any reasons whatsoever.
