Expression of Interest - EOI For Endline Evaluation of the Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls’ with Education in Nepal (ENGAGE)
VSO is a global voluntary organisation whose mission has been to bring people together to fight poverty through the lasting power of volunteering.
Since 1964, VSO has been working in Nepal, to educate and empower the most marginalized and vulnerable groups. Addressing poverty, barriers to exclusion, and providing quality education, developing the marginalized groups’ wellbeing using volunteering for development, gender, disability and inclusion, social accountability, and resilience are the core functions of VSO. VSO works at individual, social/community, family and service level where the needs are the greatest, sharing skills and experience strategically with people and organizations with the potential to effectively contribute to development in Nepal.
With funding from Girls’ Education Challenge, the flagship programme of DFID’s commitment to education, VSO has implementing ENGAGE, in three districts of Nepal (Banke, Parsa and Sarlahi). This project working on supporting out of school (OOS) girls with disabilities and marginalized girls from 10-19 years of age. Empowering the out of school (OOS) disabled and marginalized girls, increasing the parental support and improving attendance of OOS disabled and marginalized girls in schools are the major objectives of the project. The project further helps to improve the teaching quality and inclusive education practice in learning facilities focusing 10-19 years age out of school children with disability and marginalized girls.
We will be running a tender process with the intention of awarding a contract for the provision of end-line evaluation consultancy services and are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced / qualified organisations.
VSO’s requirements:
Firms having experiences in educational research, baseline, mid line and end line study with specific focus on educational projects and having experience working on children with disability can send their Expression of Interest (EOI) along with evidence of valid company/firm registration certificate, renewal of business permit, VAT/PAN registration certificate, organizational audit report of last two fiscal years and latest tax clearance certificate of FY 2077/78 to [email protected] by 17th July, 2022
