Invitation for Electronic Bids
for the Construction of Solar Mini Grid System

1. Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) invites Electronic Bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Works "Construction of 17 kWp Solar Mini Grid System at Thawang Rural Municipality, Ward No. 1, Chhitiwang, Rolpa" under National Competitive Bidding (NBC) procedures as specified in prevailing Public Procurement Act and Public Procurement Regulations of Nepal. The estimated amount for the Works is NRs. 16,422,461.52 inclusive of VAT. Bidding is open to all eligible National Bidders.
2. Interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document in English at the office of AEPC, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu or may visit e-GP system of PPMO : www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
3. Complete set of Bidding Document for the task in English is available online and may be downloaded for e-submission from the e-GP system of PPMO : www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of Bidding Document (non-refundable fee) of NRs. 3,000.00 in the Rajaswa (Revenue) Bank Account as specified below and and scanned copy in PDF format of the voucher/receipt of the deposited amount must be submitted/uploaded along with the Electronic Bid.

4. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at AEPC, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu at 11:00 A.M. on 24 December 2020.
5. Interested Eligible Bidders are required to submit the Electronic Bids through e-GP system of PPMO www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 Noon on 7 January 2021.
6. Submitted Electronic Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 12:15 P.M. on 7 January 2021 at the office of AEPC, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
7. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by scanned copy of the bid security in PDF format, amounting to a minimum of NRs. 400,000.00 (In Words: Four Hundred Thousand Rupees Only), which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period (i.e., Valid up to minimum 6 May 2021).
8. If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Office Code: 308003502 and Account Name DTCO, Kathmandu, Bank Account No. 1201200001002524 at Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali and submit/upload the receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the eBid.
