1. The Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetaudahas received a approved program from GOP, Agriculture Development Directorate. Bagamati Province, Hetauda( 70%) and Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan (30%) towards the cost of Construction of Provincial Agriculture Wholesale Market in collaboration with Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Hetauda and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Provincial Agriculture Wholesale Market in collaboration with Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Hetauda and Contract ID: ADD/WORKS/NCB/03/077/078. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.
2. Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Provincial Agriculture Wholesale Market in collaboration with Hetauda Sub Metropolitan under National Competitive Bidding Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 176,100,000.00
- Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: at least one construction of RCC framed building with minimum 1000 sqm area Contracts within the last ten (10) years, each with a value of at least NRs 300,000,000.00 that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder should submit their bid electronically only and may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost NRs. 20,000.00 of bidding document in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda 2021-03-04 at 14:00 Hrs
6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 2021-03-17 at 12:00 Hrs. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The bids will be opened if possible, in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2021-03 17 at 13:00 Hrs at the office of Agriculture Development Directorate, Bagamati Province, Hetauda.
8. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of NRs.10,180,000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
9. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
10. The employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason whatsoever.
11. Matters not covered by this notice shall be in accordance with the Public Procurement Act 2063 B.S. and Public Procurement Regulation, 2064 B.S. and other prevailing national rules and regulations.
12. Failure to submit the bid document as per forms and format from PPMO shall be bid non-responsive.
