The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated funds from Nason Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Dharapani, Manang towards the cost of Construction of Prakash Jyoti Secondary School Boys Hostel at Nason R.M.-5, Thoche, Manang and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Prakash Jyoti Secondary School Boys Hostel at Nason R.M.-5, Thoche, Manang NCB-1/NASON/BLDG/079-80. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of the bidding document.
Nason Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Dharapani, Manang invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Construction of Prakash Jyoti Secondary School Boys Hostel at Nason R.M.-5, Thoche, Manang under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: .
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: Nrs.3,67,00,000.00
Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Participation as Prime contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least One (1) Contracts within the last ten (10) years, cach with a value of at least NRs 1,96,00,000.00 without VAT that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works.
Construction Experience in Key Activities: Brick Works: 170.00 m3, RCC M20=240.00 m3 Plaster works = 3310.00 m2
Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (1) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.

Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/ egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of the bidding document in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

Electronic bids must be submitted to the office of Nason Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Dharapani, Manang through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 2079-07-03 (20 October 2022). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 on 2079-07-03 (20 October 2022) at the office of Nason Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Dharapani, Manang. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid amounting to a minimum of Nrs. 12,00.000.00, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid i.e minimum upto 2079-11-05 (17th Feb,2023).
If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such cases the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
