Invitation for Bids for the Construction of Academic Building of Central Department of Management

- Tribhuvan University, Central Department of Management has allocated funds or received grant from Government of Nepal towards the cost for construction of academic departmental building and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Academic Building of Central Department of Management (NCB/TUCDM/01/076/77). Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.
- Tribhuvan University, Central Department of Management invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Mat foundation, Brick work PCC for RCC, including of Civil works, Electrical works, Sanitary works, HVAC, Networking under National Competitive Bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
1. Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 226000000.00 (226 millions)
2. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: NRs. 256000000.00 (256 millions)
3. At least two RCC building with single basement including Mat or pile foundation - Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the Bidding Document.
- Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Tribhuvan University, Central Department of Management, Kirtipur (Contact: 977-1-4330-847 email address: i[email protected] or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
- Bidders can submit their bid electronically only and may download the bidding documents for e submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders should deposit the cost of biding document upon payment of a non refundable fee of NRs. 20000.00 till 2077-04-28 (12th August 2020) during office hours in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

- Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Central Department of Management, Kirtipur through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:30 PM on 2077/04/29(13th August 2020). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
- The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 2:30 PM on 2077/04/29 (13th August 2020) at the office of Tribhuvan University Central Department of Management, Kirtipur. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format amounting to a minimum of amount NRs. 9500000.00 (9.5 millions), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
- If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
