Invitation for Bids

1. The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population has allocated fund towards the cost and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of 15 bed hospital at Gaindakot Municipality, Pitaujighat (ward-11) (Contract ID: 04/GM/NCB/2077-78). Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document..
2. Gaindakot Municipality, Office of Municipal Executive invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Construction of 15 bed hospital at Gaindakot Municipality, Pitaujighat (ward-11) under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
- Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years Nrs: 11,21,00,000.00
- Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least 1 Building contract within the last ten (10) years, each with a value of at least NRs 14,95,00,000.00 that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works.
3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Gaindakot Municipality, Gaindakot-5, Gandaki Province, Nepal or may contact project manager at 977-9855082935 or may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
4. Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Gaindakot Municipality, Gaindakot-5, Gandaki Province, Nepal at 16-12 2020, (1th Poush, 2077), 12.00 noon. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Gaindakot Municipality, Gaindakot-5, Gandaki Province, Nepal through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12.00 on 27-12-2020 (12th Poush 2077). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 12.00 on 27-12-2020 (12th Poush 2077) at the office of Gaindakot Municipality, Gaindakot-5, Gandaki Province, Nepal Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of Nrs. 41,00,000.00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
7. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
8. The bidders are advised to visit the site & assess the actual site condition before submission of bid document.
9. The employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
10. All other terms & conditions will be as per prevailing procurement act & regulations of government of Nepal & rules, regulation of Gaindakot Municipality.
