CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT ASSESSMENT ON WASTE MANAGEMENT 

United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954.  UMN is implementing Climate Change Impact Mitigation and Adaptation for  Environment Sustainability (CLIMATES) project in Doti and Bajhang districts.  Waste management is one of the areas of the project intervention. In this context,  we want to carry out an assessment to understand the dynamics of waste and  seek an effective solution for managing waste in the local context. Based on the  findings and insights of the assessment, we want to better design our working  approach and intervention in locally managing waste. 

All interested and experienced consulting firms/individuals who meet the  requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Details of the assessment  and requirements have been provided in Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be  accessed at www.umn.org.np/tor-wastemanagement. The application must be  submitted to UMN latest by 19 March 2023. 

Short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment process. We especially  encourage applications from women and marginalised groups.
