The Udaya Project Phase 1, jointly funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Government of Koshi Province (GoKP), operates under a bilateral agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland. This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning (MoEAP) and DAI Global UK Ltd. (Technical Assistance Provider), in association with Access Advisory, from December 2023 for four years with a clearly mandated geographical focus in the Koshi Province.
The project aims to enhance access to finance for SMEs by leveraging Business Development Services (BDS), supporting financial institutions, creating a risk-sharing mechanism, and establishing a digital information portal for SMEs.
DAI Global UK Ltd. -Udaya Project Facilitation Unit (PFU) invites eligible, experienced, and interested Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) to submit Expressions of Interest (EoI) along with required documents, preferably via email to join as service providers for SMEs in Koshi Province. The goal is to create an official roster of qualified BDSPs for delivering essential Pre-Loan BDS, including financial literacy, business planning, loan application preparation, and compliance advisory, to promote inclusive and sustainable SME growth in the region.
