Call for Expression of Interest (EoI)
Background
WaterAid Nepal seeks NGOs or other relevant organisations to submit EOI for partnership on the project:
1. The Listening Project: Voices of Sanitation Workers
A project aimed at empowering sanitation workers in Lalitpur by raising awareness of their rights, improving working conditions, and promoting policy change through capacity building and participatory storytelling.

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, established in 1981, determined to make clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene practices normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. We change millions of lives every year, working in 26 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene. WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. We team up with local partners, technical experts, governments, and communities to support the delivery of integrated WASH services and hygiene behaviour change programme in hard-to-reach communities, helping to transform lives.
Competency required for The Listening Project: Voices of Sanitation Workers
- Legally registered NGO in Nepal with operations in Lalitpur or surrounding areas
- Minimum 5 years of experience in community development, WASH, labor rights, or related sectors
- Proven record of working with Sanitation Workers/desludging
- Strong coordination, facilitation, and reporting capabilities
- Experience in supporting storytelling, documentation, or rights-based campaigns is an asset
- Familiarity with local context, language, and sanitation issues
Interested, qualified and experienced NGOs and relevant organisations are requested to submit their technical proposal and financial proposal with a detailed budget breakdown, including applicable taxes, updated CV highlighting suitability of expertise for the assignment and other information as mentioned in the TOR along with, company registration, and latest year tax clearance/ tax exemption certificates FY 2080/81.
