BID INVITATION FOR INTERNET CONNECTIVITY SERVICES

The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal (GWT(N), the field arm of Gurkha Welfare Trust UK, a registered charitable Trust working particularly for the Ex-Gurkha veterans and their wider communities across Nepal needs a fast, reliable and cost effective Internet Connectivity Services to the GWT(N) Data Centre, HQ GWT(N) Pokhara and its 22 x Branch Offices (Area Welfare Centres) across Nepal to ensure operational efficiency as per the Terms of Reference (TOR) given with the bid document.
GWT(N) requires primary and secondary internet connections from different ISPs to enhance service resilience. The selected ISP(s) must provide: A fixed annual fee with symmetric bandwidth as specified in Section 3C of the given TOR, Fiber-optic cable connectivity, High stability and service reliability with a minimum up-time of 99.99% and 24/7 technical assistance and helpdesk support.
Interested eligible Internet Service Providers are invited to submit a competitive (Double Envelopes) sealed bids for the same. The contract may be awarded for 3 years' time, subject to the satisfactory performance of the provider, which shall be reviewed and mutually negotiated on an annual basis.
Bid documents are available upon successful payment of NPR3,000.00 (In words Nepalese Rupees Three Thousand only) (non-refundable) from Procurement Cell, HQ GWT Nepal, British Gurkhas Pokhara till 05 June 2025 (1700hrs). All completed sealed bids should be submitted on or before 06 June 2025 (1600hrs) at the latest.
