• At least Intermediate level/ +2 with 2years of work experience in relevant field.

REPORTS TO: District Coordinator

Position Overview:

S/he will be responsible for successful implementation of Suaahara (Good Nutrition) Program focused on Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion activities at District/VDC levels with the coordination of other implementing partners and district Suaahara a office. S/he will also be responsible for conducting training, facilitation, community triggering. Provide technical support to local NGO partner, FCHV, communities to implement the program as well as support DDC and VDCs to prepare Sanitation and Hygiene strategy and execute the strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate and technical support to partner NGO and staff on hygiene and sanitation matter for Suaahara program implementation at district level
• Support to conduct district level stakeholder planning, meeting, orientation, training and other relevant activities on WASH issues
• Support to prepare and execute District and VDCs Sanitation and Hygiene Plan and strategy
• Represent and work as a D-WASH-CC meme on behalf of Suaahara program and contribute for district ODF program
• Support to LNGO, VDCs to conduct CLTS training at VDCs level
• Support to form/reactivate and capacitate the V-WASH-CC
• Support to organize the various community level trainings and workshops as well as manage all the IEC/BCC materials, make use of it and ensure its use by others and mobilize and support to health workers, FCHVs, Mother groups other to implement the program
• Support and organize different activities at DDC and VDC level on nutrition , health/hygiene and sanitation related awareness program i.e, rallies, folk songs completion, quiz competition, video display, campaign etc.
• Work as a Suaahara team and maintain good coordinate and communication with other members
• Regular Supervision and monitoring of the Suaahara program and provide technical support
• Do the reporting and write case studies of the program
• Conduct the monitoring and evaluation as well as also participate in the baseline survey work if necessary
• Carry out the necessary activities related to the office and program and tasks assigned by the Supervisor/District Coordinator
