Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design/ Billing Engineer to join our construction company. As an Design/Billing Engineer, you will play a vital role in the construction project's financial management by accurately documenting and tracking all billing-related activities. Your responsibilities will include preparing invoices, monitoring project costs, and assisting the billing team to ensure smooth and efficient billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing Preparation: Preparing accurate and timely billing invoices for completed construction projects based on contract terms and milestones.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor and record all project-related expenses, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Quantity Measurement: Collaborate with site engineers and surveyors to measure quantities of work completed and compare them against project plans.
  • Variation Orders: Document and process variation orders, change orders, and any additional work requested by the client, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  • Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports to the billing team, project managers, and stakeholders to update them on project financial status.
  • Client Communication: Assist in addressing billing-related queries from clients and providing them with necessary documentation and support.
  • Records Maintenance: Organize and maintain accurate billing records, including invoices, receipts, and relevant financial documents.
  • Contract Review: Review project contracts to understand billing terms, payment schedules, and billing requirements accurately.
  • Software Utilization: Utilize billing and accounting software to generate invoices, track expenses, and produce financial reports.
  • Cost Control: Assist in monitoring project budgets and analyzing cost trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to billing and financial reporting.
