Specified Nonprofit Corporation, Shapla Neer = Citizens' Committee in Japan for Overseas Support" (Shapla Neer) is a Japanese International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1972. It is an organization that is independent from any specific religion, political party, business, or organization. Problems we can see within society that arise from North/South issues, particularly solving issues related to poor people's living conditions in South Asia, are what our work is aimed at, in South Asia and in Japan. We aspire to realize a world where all people can flourish in the rich potential of every human being.
