Mediplus Hospital and Trauma Center at the Pokhara Metropolitan City-11 (Ranipauwa), Kaski is the first Trauma Center in the Gandaki Province. It was founded on the 25th of Chaitra 2075 with the principle of providing services related to Traumatic services (i.e., A hospital equipped and staffed to provide care for patients suffering from major traumatic injuries such as falls, motor vehicle collisions, or gunshot wounds.  ). Being the first in the province, the hospital has several experienced doctors, a young, energetic, and enthusiastic management team, and well-equipped departments with ambulance services.

Located at the center of Pokhara city, the hospital also gives 24/7 laboratory services, pharmacy, and ambulance services. Considering the current Covid-19 pandemic, the hospital is providing treatment with full care of both the staff as well as the patients in a distinct building of 50 beds for covid-19 patients only. The hospital is also ensuring a healthy environment by maintaining 2 buildings; one for Covid-19 and another for other available services at the hospital.

The city of Pokhara today along with its nearby areas has become one of the growing cities in Nepal with a population of around 5 Lakhs and there is an exponential increase in occupational health hazards and environmental pollution. The hospital originated with the ultimate aim of providing world-class care, exceptional services, and compassion to the visitor and everyone in the community.

Despite the challenge, the hospital has been growing as one of the best traumatic treatment centers in the Western region with additional healthcare services which also intends to expand its satisfying services through various academic programs in the nearest future.
