Purpose: The position holder will be responsible for maximizing Plan’s positive media coverage and fundraising opportunities, being accountable to key stakeholders accountable by communicating the humanitarian situation and Plan's emergency operations. S/He will lead in developing and amending communications plan for national and international media as needed and will establish and maintain excellent relationships with key national and international journalists. S/He will be acting as the focal point of contact to respond to the requests of media, journalists, NOs, and donors, including arranging interviews and field visits.
Terms and Location: One (1) year fixed term employment based in Plan Nepal Country Office, Lalitpur with frequent travel to the field (at least 40%)
