Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall operation and maintenance of hydropower plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and economical functioning.
• Manage and support daily operational activities, including planning, coordinating, and controlling plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory regulations, outage schedules, and routine tests per written requirements, procedures, and schedules.
• Monitor and implement health and safety programs to maintain workplace safety.
• Identify and supervise training programs for Operation and Maintenance staff.
• Oversee the construction and maintenance of civil structures related to hydropower operations.
• Possess sound knowledge of powerhouse systems, transmission lines, mechanical components, and headworks equipment.
• Handle shift duties as required, ensuring seamless plant operations.
