Position: Finishing Works Coordinator

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Finishing Works Coordinator will oversee and manage all finishing works at the construction site, including but not limited to painting, tiling, plumbing, electrical work, furniture installation, and woodworking. The candidate will ensure that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with multiple stakeholders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Supervise and coordinate all finishing work on site.
• Ensure all tasks are completed according to project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the required standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Resource Management:
• Manage site resources efficiently, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of resources.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.

Reporting:

• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and any changes to the project scope.

Financial Oversight:

• Review and verify contractor bills and ensure they are accurate and align with the work completed.
• Work with the finance team to process payments and address any billing discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision or coordination, in finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of finishing work processes, including painting, tiling, plumbing, electrical, furniture, and woodworking.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Disciplined and able to ensure tasks are completed on time or ahead of schedule.
• Must have a valid motorcycle license; having your own motorcycle is a plus.
• Willingness to work extra hours if necessary.
