Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a skilled Electric Engineer / Electrician to manage and maintain our electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on experience in industrial setups, preferably in the steel manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing plant.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical components.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to improve overall plant efficiency.
Maintain detailed records of all electrical repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Work with automation and control systems related to steel manufacturing processes.
Implement energy-saving techniques and ensure optimal power utilization.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and industrial automation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical compliance standards.
