Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking experienced and motivated Education Counselors to join our team at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students and parents in selecting suitable academic programs and institutions, primarily for higher education and study-abroad opportunities, while ensuring a smooth admission and counseling process.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and parents on education and study-abroad options
Assess students’ academic background, career goals, and interests to provide appropriate guidance
Provide detailed information on universities, courses, admission requirements, fees, scholarships, and visa processes
Assist students with application forms, documentation, SOPs, and interview preparation
Maintain accurate student records and follow up regularly to ensure successful admissions
Coordinate with partner institutions and universities
Stay updated on education trends, visa regulations, and institutional policies
Achieve counseling and enrollment targets while maintaining ethical standards

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Undergraduate)
Prior experience in education, counseling, or consultancy will be an advantage
Good command of spoken and written English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Proficiency in MS Office and email communication
