Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Ecommerce Business Head to lead, innovate, and scale our eCommerce operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive online sales, enhance customer experience, optimize digital marketing, and ensure the seamless operation of our eCommerce platform.

Purpose of the Role:

To lead and manage the eCommerce strategy, operations, marketing, technology, and customer experience, with full accountability for business performance, growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall eCommerce growth strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including marketing, technology, customer service, operations, and merchandising.
  • Own the eCommerce P&L, driving revenue growth and profitability.

Digital Marketing & Sales

  • Oversee performance marketing (SEO/SEM, email, affiliates, paid media, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze traffic, conversion rates, and user behavior to maximize ROI.
  • Build and optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies.

Platform Management & Technology

  • Manage and improve the eCommerce platform (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Collaborate with developers/designers to ensure a fast, secure, and intuitive user experience.
  • Oversee website merchandising, UX/UI, and mobile optimization.

Customer Experience & Operations

  • Ensure best-in-class customer service, returns, and fulfillment processes.
  • Identify and resolve friction points in the customer journey.
  • Integrate feedback to continually improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Analytics & Insights

  • Set KPIs and dashboards to measure business performance.
  • Leverage data for decision-making and continuous optimization.
