Job Description

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for leading the e-commerce team and managing all online sales and operations. The role ensures effective coordination across departments, efficient execution of campaigns, and continuous improvement of e-commerce processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the e-commerce team to achieve departmental goals, ensuring all activities align with set KPIs, while defining, tracking, and evaluating team performance regularly.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including product listings, pricing updates, inventory control, order processing, and payment tracking.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, and IT teams for order reconciliation, promotional campaigns, and system updates.
  • Plan and execute online promotional strategies and explore new business opportunities, offers, and schemes that can boost overall sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Conduct competitor and industry mapping to identify trends, opportunities, and next strategic moves to stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaborate with the Development (Dev) team to oversee the website’s UI/UX experience, ensuring a user-friendly and high-performing platform.
  • Monitor and update e-commerce platforms to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and visual quality.
  • Track and analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide insights for business decisions.
  • Liaise with external vendors, authors, and partners for product onboarding, pricing, and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better workflow, accuracy, and platform performance.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies through exceptional service and engagement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging e-commerce technologies.
