Job Description

Job Role: Our Business Manager will manage all day-to-day activities of the ecommerce channel as well as develop and execute strategies that will allow for significant ecommerce revenue growth and provide long term sustainable vision to the company.

Essential duties of the Business Manager:

  • Responsible for all eCommerce fulfillment for Mukundo.com, improving the productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of fulfillment and ensuring promised delivery windows
  • Lead eCommerce team and ensure service expectations are met. Monitor closely with the inventory management team to resolve any stock discrepancies for orders, anticipate work flows and alert the eCommerce team of any issues impacting fulfillment, service and delivery
  • Create and execute a vision and plan to deliver an exceptional user experience measured by financial results and key website metrics
  • Oversee Ecommerce team – 4 direct reports
  • Provide weekly detailed updates to executive management team
  • Strong functional understanding of the operational aspects of e-commerce end to end flow
  •  Manage objectives, deadlines, and scheduling for multiple simultaneous efforts within the e-Commerce function, keeping the team up to date with progress and decisions
  • Maintain brand image by attentively monitoring our social channels
  • Oversee promotion updates, new products and launches by posting and removing them as appropriate, coordinate price changes and updates
  • Responsible for building and leading a high-performing e-Commerce site while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships where needed
  • Directly responsible for strategic and day to day execution of all online business aspects including e-Commerce sales, budget, promotions, and customer experience
  • Meet financial objectives through annual budget preparation, forecasting, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action
  • Develop appropriate promotional and inventive and effective marketing campaigns and strategies to drive the key metrics of the business, which includes traffic, conversion, sales and earnings, among other metrics, actively & emotionally engage the consumer while increasing fan following and engagement
  • Collaborate with technical teams to achieve desired website functionality and user experience
  • Provide leadership in the execution of strategic plans proven experience working collaboratively across many functions and levels within an organization
  • Ability to travel upto 20% when needed
