Job Description

The post holder takes on following responsibilities under the line management of the Security Manager:

  • Provides transport services to staff and visitors as per the instruction within and outside Kathmandu valley; 
  • Takes responsibility of assigned vehicles for cleanliness, proper maintenance, as well as safety of passengers.

Required Technical Competence:

  • Academic qualification up to 10th grade; 
  • Valid driving license 
  • 2 years’ driving experience including driving outside Kathmandu valley;
  • Able to understand and speak English;
  • Able to read and understand road signs in Nepali and English; 
  • Strong adherence to traffic rules and regulations; 
  • Knowledge on diverse types of vehicles;
  • Able to identify day-to-day maintenance issues and undertake minor vehicle repairs; 
  • Able to interpret policies and procedures, maps and route directions;
  • Knowledge about First Aid.

Professional Skills:

  • Courtesy and customer orientation;
  • Takes responsibility for assigned tasks,  assures confidentiality, and professional integrity;
  • Time management and task prioritization; 
  • Reasoning skills.

Social Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills;
