ISAP is an NGO established in 2013 that is working towards economically empowering resource-poor people through a market-based approach. Our activities consistently improve the ability of target populations to begin and grow businesses, participate in profitable value chains, and access finance.

Institution for Suitable Actions for Prosperity (ISAP) is now implementing 5-year project named JNS Agriculture Promotion Project in Nepal (APPIN) funded by Japan Nepal Society (JNS), Tokyo. The project aims to increase the income of community people by encouraging the production and marketing of high-quality vegetables and fruits, thereby promoting business and industrialization of the agriculture sector. We are looking for the following position to successfully implement APPIN.

Job Description

Contract Period: Initially one  year with possibility of extension
Reports to: Executive Director, Project Team Leader and Assigned Line Manager

The position holder will be responsible for the following: 

  • Lead a team of Agriculture Technicians/Officer and Social Mobilizers in carrying out day to day activities in the project areas
  • Provide technical backstopping to the beneficiary groups
  • Maintain coordination with local units and relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops and training as per the planned activity guideline 
  • Oversee overall site activities
  • Ensure healthy work environment for the project team
  • Preparation and Submission of reports as an when required
  • Management of activity budget allocated for the project year
  • Management of Human Resource and maintenance of HR Record of the respective field
  • Maintenance and Documentation of record books and other project files in the field
  • Other duties as required by the supervisor
