Job Position:  Student Services Officer

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree

Location: Kathmandu

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with students and parents, listen to them, note down their problems and report it to your manager
  • Conduct the orientation program for the new students
  • Monitor the behaviour attributes of students
  • Collaborate with the resource department and provide sports facilities to the students
  • Monitor and coordinate in all the events conducted in the college
  • Purchase necessary resources required for events and student services
  • Distribute the forms for College problems
  • Follow up students through telephone call, email and sms to notify them
  • Follow up with parents to provide them with new information
  • Counsel the students on their personal and emotional needs
  • Contact the students who have very poor attendance, find out the reason for low attendance and report it to Student Service Manager
  • Prepare a report of every follow-up that you do
  • Maintain the cleanliness and authenticity of the notice boards
  • Perform and undertake all other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Immediate Supervisor

Other Specification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in a similar field
  • Excellent coordination, monitoring, planning, supervisory and guidance skills
  • Excellent communication and decision making skills with the ability to resolve issues tactfully
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet schedules and deadlines while being cost consciousness
  • Good Computer Skills (MS office tools including PowerPoint presentations
