It is also a part of both national and global social justice movement and other civil society networks, alliances, and coalitions.

Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Humanitarian Response Coordinator

Department: Programme Policy

Reports to: Programme Policy Manager

Location: Country Office, Kathmandu

Key Competencies Required:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Science/Development Studies or any other relevant field from a recognized University
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a related field in similar role and similar organisation, and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment 

Key Responsibilities:

  • S/he  is responsible to conceptualise, plan and manage initiation to promote resilience against disaster; and ensure humanitarian response in case of any emergency to contribute to the overall organisational mission to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication in line with AA Nepal's Strategy 2023.
