Altigen Communications, a leader in UC communications platform products, is seeking a Director of Applications Development to lead our Asia engineering team and contribute to our strategic success and expansion in the global marketplace. The ideal candidate will lead multiple groups of engineers to develop Azure-based communications software for Microsoft Teams. He/she needs to have strong leadership and management skills, solid domain expertise in telecom, networking and Microsoft based communications, along with experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple Agile development groups and provide technical guidance to Engineers
Architect, design and develop software for Altigen's leading edge UC communications solutions for Microsoft Teams
Create Software Specifications based on customer and market requirements
Manage existing product sustaining and interact with QA and Technical Support

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 10 years

Required Age:More than 30 years

Other Specification

10+ years of software development experience among which 4+ years in Unified Communications, Contact Center or Telecommunication products.
5+ years of experience in engineering management and leadership positions
Experience with developing software for Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business or Teams Phone system is a plus
Strong English speaking and writing skills
MS/BS CS/EE or related major
Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies is preferred
Great interpersonal communication and leadership skills
Web development experience (C#, Javascript, React, PowerShell Script, Angular) is a plus

Experience in multiple areas below:

Development of apps utilizing Microsoft’s Graph APIs would be ideal
VoIP or Call processing - Networking protocols (SIP Protocol)
Contact Center software design/implement
3+ years in Cloud application experience
2+ years Microsoft Azure DevOps experience
